Salon Covid 19 Policy

We have carried out a risk assessment to Identify hazards and risk factors regarding treatments and Covid 19 to identify appropriate ways to reduce or eliminate any risks or hazards in line with Government and Professional body guidelines.

We have additional protocols set down by the professional bodies and the UK government that we must follow for the safety of everyone.

When making an appointment via phone your email will be asked for to send you a Covid 19 health questionnaire to read, sign and print off to bring with you to your appointment. Your email will not be used for marketing etc

If you feel poorly , have a cold sore throat or any symptoms of Covid 19 please cancel your appointment , this will enable someone else to have treatment.

Please arrive on time and alone, no children are allowed due to Covid 19

On arrival please wear a face mask , & text you are here the door will be opened to invite you in when we are ready, this is to ensure social distancing between clients and allow for enhanced cleaning before and after each client.

Please leave your personal belonging in the car e.g. handbag and coat unless raining.

Your purse, phone and keys will be placed into a plastic container which can be disinfected following your visit.

Your health questionnaire will be asked for at this point , if left at home another must be completed before treatment .

Your temperature will be taken to check it is within a normal range.

You will be asked to sanitise or wash your hands

I normally wear PPE but under government guidelines I will be wearing enhanced PPE so look a little different. The salon will also look a little different also to meet Covid 19 safety requirements .

All the above is to prevent the spread of Covid 19 as some people are asymptomatic which means they carry the virus, therefore if we treat everyone as a potential carrier we will reduce the risk of cross contamination.

I have undertaking online training for Covid 19 with a variety of training providers including the World Health Organisation and City and Guilds

Regrettable due to the additional time that is required between clients to maintain a Covid secure workspace as well as additional costs related to PPE this has resulted in reducing the total number of clients I can see in one day and consequently ,to cover this there is a small surcharge of £2.00

Salon Policy Pre- Covid 19

As a courtesy to other clients, please arrive on time.

Please note that being late compromises your treatment time.

To maintain a tranquil atmosphere during treatments we request that mobile phones are switched off.

Our Cancellation Policy: Please cancel appointments at least 48/24 hours in advance of your booked appointment otherwise a minimum charge of £25 is payable or 50% of the cost of the treatment whichever is the greater.

A confidential consultation will be carried out prior to any treatments being given; to discuss individual treatment requirements and any health conditions that may contra-indicate or restrict treatment availability. Your therapist will advise you appropriately during the consultation period.

On completion of your treatment you will be given post-treatment advice to enhance the benefits of the treatment received.

For health and safety reasons we prefer children not to be brought into the salon.

Consultation fee is £35.00 with patch testing
